Be sure you brush yearly...
Today while replacing my window lifter motor I noticed how dirty the door on my SS had gotten. Since everything was torn apart anyway I just hauled the interior part of the door inside and began cleaning it.
I would have to say, an old tooth brush and a mix of water and Dawn does wonders on the textured surfaces like the door handle and arm rests. I just did one section at a time and wiped the extra liquid before it started to drip. WOW! I know some try to wipe it down every now and then but the tooth bush can really get into the texturing and remove the embeded dirt.
Is anyone else this anal about having a clean car?

I clean mine often enough that I don't need a tooth brush to scrub out dirt.

I dont think so, the last time I got new brakes I was broke as shit. I know they weren't very expensive.
They dont make much brake dust to be completely honest, with silver rims you cant tell theres any build up unless its been several weeks, but even just a little bothers me. my old brake pads turned my rims almost black every week.

The almighty tooth brush is good everywhere. Brake calipers, Rims, interior, getting that wax from between body panels. If I don't have a tooth brush, I don't detail that day. It's just not worth it.

yes toothbrush works. I really don't use it often on my car since I always clean it once every 2 months.

Toothbrush works great. I use it everywhere. But not often on my car since I always clean it every 2 months.

Tooth brush is a must when cleaning outside or under the hood of the maro. Not for the inside it never gets dirty maybe some dust from the windows being down or the t tops off. She gets a wash and interior wipe down every Saturday every thing else is on pause the girl friend hates all the time it takes.
