shit. i figured it out. Somehow overspray from doing the deck stain with a paint gun [on the opposite side of the house] must have traveled around into the garage on the day I was doing it...damn. guess i'll need someone to do some heavy duty wet sanding

the sick thing is, i kinda like it...sparkly clean paint! It only shows when the sun's at a certain angle.

Looks kind of 'interesting' but not sure I'd like it on the glass. Hope you had the paint well-sealed and waxed- just maybe the overspray didn't bond too well-

Claybar took an unknown overspray off my car. I'd try that before anything else.

what if i claybar and use deck-stain remover as lubricant? could that damage the clearcoat?

This is the exact reason I took my car to my parents house to store it while my neighbor got his house painted. I have heard many sad storys about overspray blowing onto someones car. I don't think clay bar will remove oil base laq. but it probably won't hurt to try a small area.

Ive got this too from spraypainting in my yard.... claybar doesnt work. Reducer doesnt work... buffer/sander is the only way to go...
