    Rim Cleaner

What is the best rim cleaner to use to get the old brown stains (dirt and brake dust) off of a rim? I am trying to clean up my stock Z28 16" rims. I tried using the Mothers Polish I used on my Z06 rims, but really didnt do much.

    Thanks

s100 makes a polishing soap that cleans well. try that and then use mothers/meguiars polishing ball/tool on a drill with polish of your choice (mothers, meguiars, wenthol, simichrome, ect.) to finish.

dont use polish if your wheels are clear coated. dont know what to use if clear coat is stained. maybe m105/m205 combo?

purple power works really good...that's what i use on my wheels it's spray on and rinse off...gets rid of the brake dust real easy and i accumulate ALOT of brake dust...dont know if i need to try different brake pads or get new calipers or both...i think my drivers side front is sticking anyway...idk tho

Is there anything to be done if wheels are slightly pitted? I have the alloy (stock) zr1's and they, despite being curb rash free, are not in the best of shape. Any advice?

I just watched a video on it. Good stuff. Going to have to try a bottle for sure. Been using cheap pads, so the dust is crazy...
