    Question bout ebony interior...

Hello everyone! First post on this site. Forgive me if i missed an obvious answer but i have purchased a 2002 T/A a4 recently and it appears it might have sat for a month or so because a few small spots seem to be fading on the dash. Ok i know some of you are going to recommend a dash mat. BUT. its the part of the dash that is in front around the air bag and the stereo. Is there a touch up paint? is it vynil or plastic exactly? i keep getting mixed answers in real life. So i wanted to get some sure things from some true experts on these kind of cars.

    My life is a
    Ben Stiller movie.

dash mats look tacky. Is it the leather part or plastic part which is fading? The part near the windo with the defroster vent is plastic, then it meets a leather wrap that goes around the dash face....let us know.

I think he means the leather part, if that's what it is.

Try some towel wet in hot water and try to clean as much as you can.
    Then assess the condition.
The warm towel will soften up the leather and whatever is on it.
Try using some leather shampoo and scrub it.
If the leather is scuffed up, it should be obvious, if you're not sure what it is, it may just be some transfer from something else that just need cleaning.

Post a pic if you can. It'll be easier to judge what you've got...
