Okay quick help for burnout rubber

So I did a little impromptu burnout the other night here at a local street gathering (pics to follow). I have all kinds of rubber as you could imagine on my rear fender. I need a quick relatively easy solution to get it off. I am not in America so don't tell me to go to Autozone or Advance and get some goo be gone stuff. I am overseas and in a remote sort of location. Anything like general around the house type stuff that may work.?. Dank je wel!

Wow, interesting question... I'd love to help, but I'm only here to compliment your pictures, with a "nice burnout" and a little "

" smiley.

Maybe try to find some adhesive remover or wd40? Those are the only two household types I can think of....

Havn't tried it but maybe WD-40.

I always just used my fingers to roll it off.

Ok I will try some. Most of it did rub off but some is left behind and just smeared when i rubbed it. Damn crappy ass Falken rubber...

Hope they have a tire shop nearby for the next time you do that....and hopefully they have something other than old white wall Good Years over there

Two things that I have found work. The first and I find best (since I end up using them to wash the car most of the time) is the quarter operated pressure washing places. Something else that I have found works on just about anything that is stuck on the car (bugs, rubber, sap) is dryer sheets that you use for the laundry just put them in the soapy water and wipe away the issue. Just make sure you rinse really well incase yours have some soapy additive thing.

DONT use wd-40...it actually says right on it not to use on paint...rubbing it off with finger tips..and high pressure wash will do it.

finally someone that understands that wd-40 should not be used on paint. I have people argue with me constantly and say that its great to use on your car piant......DUMB IDEA!

Soap and water first. See how far you can go with an old fashion wet towel and soapy water before you can go up the next option
I believe you can get 3M products anywhere in the world. 3M Adhesive Remover as your last option
Goo-Off or similar products are sold everywhere these days as well. A supermarket should carry something similar if not the real thing...

Simple Green if they have it overseas... Just keep a hoses close and wash wash the simple green off..

have you ever done it...? just wondering cause i have sprayed my entire jeep with the stuff for the last two years and have found any ill affects yet.. it does leave a very nice shine i might add..

Yeah the wind carried the smoke under the car and it started coming out of the hood vents. I liked and it looked really nice while I was doing it!

Soap and water have been used. Thanks for the suggestions I will use a few to see if I can get the sticky spots tken care of.

Looks like you love doing burnouts in the Mustang...

Old school trick that my father did in his '69 Camaro was to spray non-stick cooking oil spray like 'PAM' on the lower quarter panels before crazy burnouts.

Atfterwards a clean cloth will wipe the tire shred off very very easily. Try that and post your results.

Yeah I have heard of that before. This was a impromptu burnout so I was not really prepared and it made a big mess. I figured what the heck since I was going to change the rear tires anyway this week.
