    Interior cleaning

What are you guys using for panels and other plastics in the interior? I am using Meguires, but I think thats whats causing the stains on the black dash.

I use a product called TRIM SHINE that comes in an aerosol can. It is intended for use on auto trim such as weather seals, bumpers, etc, but I found it highly effective on all plastic pieces. Goes on clean without messy or oily residue and lasts for a good amount of time.

you can get a lot of the normal crud off the interior panels with just plain warm water and a towel or a toothbrush.

shine/protectant i've been using meguires lately with no problems.

I backed off on trim shine. Got some on the center dash and it discolored the crap out of it.

I use PRIMA Nero. It is water based and contains no silicon. It leaves a matte finish -kind of like a new car has and smells great-not overwhelming though.

The key is to clean the dash well before you put anything on it
While most interior quick detailers are designed to clean, not always will they be compatible with existent products already applied on the surface. The results will be streaks, and blotchy spots
Best thing to do is wipe with warm water or a diluted APC (All-Purpose-Cleaner) like Meguiars, and then you can use a protectant over it...

I like the Meguire's Quick Detail interior wipes.

They grab all the dust and what not, but don't leave too much of a shine on the plastics, more of a matte look. I like that, because I hate the glare you get with a shined up dash.

They also smell pretty good, too.

For windows I use Invisible Glass w/paper towels, works great, no streaks.

A few weeks ago I used TurtleWax OXY Interior clean on the rugs. It actually worked very well. I had some spots on the tan carpet that were annoying me, the OXY took it right out.

303 has yielded best results for me.

I dd mine and actually USE the cupholders etc. A good degrease and wipedown before makes the product last much longer IMO
