Headlight pitting
Has anyone had pitting happen to the plastic on their headlights and if so, have you done anything to remove it? Any polishes or mildly abrasive sanding to fix or lessen it?

Just get a 3M headlight polishing kit from any autoparts store. It works - follow the instructions. It is important to keep the surface good and wet. In addition I would follow that with mother's scratch remover at the end - that will polish things to a very smooth finish.

Like Zforce1 said, it is VERY important to keep the surface wet at all times of you could mees up the whole job. I know because I did NOT keep the surface wet and wound up buying a new headlight.
