Getting ready for the detail!!
In T-Minus 10 minutes I start my detail. Washing/Clay baring (My first time using a Clay bar and first time for the Maro)/Waxing. I'll get pics up even tho I have mix matching wheels Probably looking at tomorrow for pics. Can't wait to see how it turns out

Clay bar is really easy to use, it just sucks claying an entire car...

Claying was easy but worthless. I guess my paint was in better condition then I thought. You just spray the area down til its nice and wet and glide the clay bar across til smooth. Keep it moist or you can damage the paint. She is done and blinging. I took shitty cell pics of after, not before. I'm trying to get a digital camera to take better pics. I won't clay bar again, it took some shit off but nothing worth doing hours upon hours for me anyway.
Ask me how much I love my car?
I did this all in 106 degree heat

Clay also gets brakes dust and other micro containments off. If you daily drive the car, it's a good idea to do atleast once a year.

Sorry to hear you're going zO6. Very boring and now your car looks like everyone elses. But I guess if you're happy and happy to be like everyone else that's all that matters. There are much better wheels out there that would really touch off your car.
Major props for a great job on the claybar and wax job!!! Now if they would create a dust repellant for us guys with black cars...

Searched and searched and I'm only about the 5th car I've seen on the net like this. While you may be talking about those black/chrome lipped Z06's off of Egay, OEM Z06's are quite rare. Also the one of the lightest wheel GM ever designed. Average weight savings of 2lbs a wheel. 1 lb of rotating mass is equal to 8 lbs of stationary. That gives me less unsprung weight and about 64 lbs weight loss. Thanks for the props tho
