    freshly detailed

My car was feeling a little rough and looking kind of dull so I decided to wash and detail it. Here are a few pics of it.

great color, but you need new rims. Snowflakes were the worst design gm ever did.

Working on that now. Problem is most aftermarket rims for the 4th gen look like ricer rims or they are the typical 5 spoke.

Not sure that they are the worst design in terms of looks, saturn had some pretty ugly rims.

I have every winter since new.
This year the paint was damaged at work so I decided to do the rubbing and polishing compound and 2 coats of wax before letting the snow touch it. It looked so nice when I got done that I decided I could keep it away from the salt for the winter.
Its now safe in the garage until the rain washes the salt off the road.

Thanks. A lot of work and well worth it.
It was about 14 outside when when I was taking pics. Probably can't see it but the driveway is glazed in ice.

I have the luxury of putting the car in the gargae and doing the work over several days while I drive my winter car to work.
I think I spent about 20 hours on it over the course of a week.

Only problem is now I won't drive it til the salt is off the roads!
