Fact or Fiction?
will applying a caranuba over my sealant on my IBM kill the metallic flake? and if so what will caranuba add besides extra protection? Just curious trying to get all my detailing products together before spring

you mean will you be able to see the metallic flake through the wax?
The wax is clear, it makes your car's finish shiny, it will actually protect your sealant and metal flake from UV rays.

Haha no does it dull them? Like right now you can see little flakes in the paint unlike the fbody paint im asking if i were to put a caranuba on would it dull the flakes and not make them as visible, like kill the flake sparkle/shine and just make the blue look deeper?

no it doesn't. I have used it on my LPM and it has never blocked the metallic flake.

Wax should be fine. It will not remove the metallic flake. I think it will just help protect your car and give it some shine.

you have clear coat on over the paint....if you are removing the flake, then you are past the clear coat and into the paint....and if thats they case you have a huge problem on your hands....and no wax wont do that
