Extreme luck in bad situation
So someone or something hit my car in the parking lot. I park far away from everything, not too sure how it coulda happened but I didnt get any body damge but the paint suffered a little. It looks like a big scuff, it's barely visible but I can see it and it bothers me.
Luos you know goose, goose If you show up or anyone else knowledgable; tips to get it out?

Get some Meguiars Ultimate Compound.
It's available at almost any autopart store.
It's a new product, cost only 9 bucks or so, and works extremely well, even by hand.
If you have a buffer, then better, you should be able to remove all of it, except for the couple of lines above the tires and where the fender meets the door, that by just judging by the pics, may have gone too deep.
Now, if you want to do this by hand, use the Ultimate Compund by Meguiars and a microfiber towel. Keep it wet while working it in circles, don't let the towel dry up, keep it wet with product and work a small section at a time.
Edit:
Heck, you're from Colorado, right?
Friday looks like is going to be nice.
PM me, and I'll give you my phone number and see if you can bring your car to Broomfield, or if I can maybe stop by your place and buff that out for ya'
I also have some black GM touch-up paint if needed...

No problem.
I'm going to be in the Broomfield area; west 120th about a mile east of 287 (Wadsworth) if you want to bring your car over.
I won't charge you for it.
On Saturday, I can go to you if you have a garage and a power source, but you'd need to let me know by Friday...

update
Goose came through today guys. All I can say is wow, what a down to earth excellent guy. He deserves the right to take pride in his work.
I've never before seen a guy take my 8 year old trans am (which I thought looked great) and make it look better than brand spanking new.
AFTER:note: same camera, same flash. those white spots are just dust
big thanks to goose, can't thank you enough. Anyone in or around should definitely come by this guy... He did this and the whole side of my car in 40 minutes TOPS. I can't imagine how great it'd look with the whole car like this.

Looks great. I'd still be pissed tho - some MFer obviously hit it and drove off. Someone hit my GF's Jag this week, but took the paint off the bumper down to the plastic. Of course they took off, too.
