    dodojuice?

I remember one of Goose's threads a while back where some guys were talking about Dodo Juice Purple Haze. what's the story with it? is it a polish or wax? and can you still get samples of it?

Its one of several varieties of wax they sell, suppose to be hand blended in the UK. Its like a boutique type of auto wax, not available over the counter.

and they Do sell samples too
This stuff is pretty popular over on autopia.org but then again, their are a ton of these type waxes and polishes out there. YMMV

The Purple Haze is a wax.
Yes, I did use it back in January on a couple of cars I've detailed for the Barrett & Jackson Auction.

it's a great wax IMHO. Goes easy and a long way.
    Looks great on dark colors.
The other Dodo product I currenty have is the Need For Speed Wax.
This one is like an All-In-One type product. It's a cleaner and has some wax/sealant in it for protection. Its main use is for a quick wax and clean up when you don't feel like doing multiple steps to get your ride shined-up.

I use it as a base for sealant whenever I'm doing a touch-up detail to refresh the paint and doesn't need any if at all paint correction.

It can remove light defects but it's nothing to be substitute for a real polish...

Cool, thanks for the replies. Was thinking about using it on a couple of black cars, ( I thought you had said it was good on black cars) just couldn't remember which thread it was in.
