    Detailed: 2009 Saturn Sky

I had to (unfiortunately) use the same damn turtle wax soap to wash with. its not nearly as bad as i expected though.

Buffed with XMT 360 and orange pad with my 7424XP.

XMT 360 is an all in one polish i use on cars that barely need any clear coat correction at all. it has a very light cut to it, and it has a carnauba wax and sealant all together. so, just buff, and your done.

Convertible top cleaned with Amazing Roll Off at 20:1 then sealed

Engine cleaned with Amazing Roll Off at 10:1 then Stoners More Shine to dress it up

wheels and wheel wells also cleaned with ARO at 10:1 since they werent bad.

wheel protectant used and Stoners More Shine on the wheel wells.

    Before...

then i stopped for some breakfast.... cinnamin rolls!!

Good job again. It looks like you're getting it down. Congrats!
One comment on the carwash thing. It is ok to use any carwash soap you want to use.
For most part, they all work in the same way. I'm not very particular in which one I use.
The only time I see it being an issue is if you're using a foamgun. That's when a good quality carwash is relevant.

Thanks for all the comments. Much Appreciated! i figured this and the achieva i would post up, since they are atleast GM!! haha. i wish the Sky had an LS1 in it. There is a Mallet Sky runnin around here with a V8 in it.

understood. The armor all soap i was using before didnt sud AT ALL. i hate car wash soaps that dont sud. The turtle wax wasnt bad at all, a lot better than armor all.

i got my 105/205 and some 5.5" LCC orange pads this week. i cant wait to try that out and see how much time i can save without really sacrificing quality compared to the menzerna. the 105 prolly wont shine like the SIP does, as in a a 1 step, like i did on the Achieva.

Here is a pic of everything i just received wed. and thurs of this week. (forgot to put the 3 LCC 5.5" orange pads in the pic)

yah, i like the sky so much better than the solstice. i hate the solstice, unless it has a V8, lol. this guy wanted the Turbo Sky, but it was for his wife to drive, and she didnt want manual. here is his Vrod i detailed right before the car. he got the bike he wanted, she got the car she wanted.

this is how all the paint was

couple videos i took with the camera!

Yeah -you will love it. I think I paid $40-50 for mine-which kinda hurt but it was worth it to me.
