Detail Shop too good to be true?
I got a quote of $85 for the following:
Orbital buff, wash n wax car.
Steam Clean engine
Clean interior
Clean wheels and wheel-wells.
Does this sound too good to be true? They say they've done ferrari's and fleet cars for auto auctions. They promise me they can restore the show-room finish to the car too.
I saw the shop-its just a double-wide garage with an office. They have a bunch of mequires products too.

white- 94 camaro z28
if you lived in the south I would say that must just be a nice older guy just doing something he enjoys and making a little cash but I would say suspect on that. but still. if you can watch why not. that's not too bad. I know there's a place around here that will do a full detail for 90

Remember cheaper isnt always better. If you are like me you dont want just anyone messing with your car. I had a bad experience with a couple different local "detailers" in my area. One guy tried to use dirty wash soap from a previous car wash on my car(the water looked black) to try and save money then I noticed he had two huge rings on. I got in my car and left. Never again. The best advice I can give you for finding a reputable detailer in your area is for you to join a detailing forum and ask around-also they will have pics of their work etc. Almost 99% of the time if it sounds too good to be true it usually is.
