cleaning oil smudge from paint?

i got a local car show coming up on the 4th of july. I am looking for recomendations on cleaning oily smudge marks like from working on car smudge marks off of my painted lid from when i installed it. Also would like recomendations on interior detailer spray and cleaning up the exterior with some good products thanks in advance.

wash (dawn dish soap) and claybar the car's surface to remove. then polish and wax to protect the surface again. Mother's is a good brand. I personally use Griot's products with great results.

as for the lid, remove it and wash it with dish soap, but i would do it using your hand and or a soaked microfiber towel/sponge so you don't scratch it.

for leather, i use lexol leather conidtioner and a mini-interior california duster for the dash and dashpad. i dont spray stuff on the dashpad since the sunlight reflecting off would blind you.

Try out Auto armor kits, They use these at some car dealerships, and people pay Hundreds to have it applied to their car, Using it on the firebird today with awesome results!
