Clean Stock SS Wheels...
Hey folks, man! I try to keep my SS wheels clean, but it damn near seems impossible. I was just wondering what cleaners you guys use out there and what was the best that you could recommend. Thanks

Yep, knowing the type will help us answer your question better. You can't go wrong with soap/water for any type though.

I use Eagle 1 All Wheel and Tire Cleaner:
It works great, cuts through just about anything and won't hurt your wheels.

I deal with the same thing. My 02 SS has these 10 spokes on them and quite frankly I can't stand them, the design is a complete pain in the rear to clean. Too many places to trap dirt. It's just the nature of design.
I keep mine touched up with windex and a towel every few days. But once every couple of weeks it requires a good wash with soap and water to get all the dirt out of the hard to reach places.
I really like the simple 5 spoke wheels on my 97 Z28 better, much easier to keep clean.
I have experimented with wheel cleaners that wesman has posted and they work fine as well. I have only found a need for them on wheels that have not been cleaned for a very long time and the brake dust has been allowed to really settle in. Then you need something like that to cut through the grime. Otherwise I just use soap and water. If you stay on top of them then all that wheel cleaner is not as necessary.

Ive used the Turtle Wax F21 spray on wheel cleaner on alloy wheels and it works well. You spray it on right before washing and then wash them. Its pretty good about breaking brake dust free etc. Its acid free and I have used it on chrome before. It never caused the chrome to pit or peel.
