    Clean ass windows!! (real cheap)

ok, so i've been messing around with a lot of different ways/strategies of getting my windows REALLY clean. well i believe i finally found it tonite, and its pretty cheap actually!

    1) was your car like you normally would
    2) get a bowl of white distelled vinegar and a paper towel and wipe down all your exterior windows with it (don't need to use much!)
    3) use walmart (just cuz its the cheapest!) auto window cleaner and a microfiber cloth to clean your windows inside and out
    4) use an old t-shirt turned inside out (so not to scratch with any screenprinting on the shirt) to polish those puppies to a super clean!

i know it sounds simple (and really cheap about $5 in total supplies!) but this is the cleanest i have ever seen windows in any of my vehicles and i've been trying different crap for a long time, give it a try yourself and let me know how it works

I have had good results just using a claybar with the detail spray and then cleaning them with reg ole windex.

Ya'll might think this is crazy. I have a 67 ss Chevelle also and when I first got it the windows had 35 years of crap on them. Old car show guy's told me to use 0004 steel wool. I tried it and it made the windows look new. No scraches at all. just use your cleaner of choice ( windex etc. ) and kepp it real wet. Do small circles and you wil be amased. Good for spotted windows. 0004 steel wool is not as abrasive as a scouring pad.

Ever notice that fog on the inside of windows, especially on newer cars? I asked a pro and he said plastisizers from the dash leak out into the air and cause that, I asked him what worked best, he said use vinegar, and then finish up with "Sparkle", generic windex. He said windex has something in it that tends to leave like little waterspots afterwards. The Sparkle is missing whatever causes those.
