    With claybar......

I just washed and waxed the car yesteday and noticed some rough spots on the hood and drivers side fender. Do i need to wash those spots with dish soap before applying the claybar? Or can I just hit it with it even with the fresh wax on it? Thanks for the help~Chris

    My tip....

NEVER use Dawn/dish soap on the paint.
The proper detailing steps will remove old wax....no reason to use something so harsh to do it.

Ok so a good wash with meguiars soap should do the trick.......I have quite a few coats of wax on there........but my real question is do i have to remove the wax before claybaring to get the contaminents off?
