what bitches, messing with another person's ride is just f'd up. Sorry to hear it man, I know I'd be pissed whether is was my Z or my daily driver. The best thing to do is forget about the paint for long enough to go find out who did it and
    fuck
    them
    up
It would make me feel better to get revenge than it would to fix it right away

how deep is it? did it get all the way through the paint, or just through the clear coat, or is it just surface scratches? if they aren't too deep you can buff em out with some serious elbow grease

Shit I hate that crap!! My car has a few on the passenger side . Only thing I can do is pay off my C.C. and shell out the 3,000 to get it redone.

Crap! That really sucks! Any ideas at all, anyone have a beef with you or your Mom that you know of? Or just some random act of vandalism?

Why are you not able to turn it into the insurance Co.? Liability Insurance only? What about filing a Police report?

    random vandalism for sure.

she doesn't wanna turn it in b/c it's just a claim they'd rather not make, nor do they wanna be w/out a car for X number of days

assuming it's only surface scratch-what can be done?

If its deep enough to need refinish I would turn into insurance and let them pay for the repair. Vandalism is covered under your comprehensive coverage. Insurance company cannot raise your rates on comprehensive as this is not a chargeable loss.

right on bro, if you get a police report for vandialism, its all gravy. it may be a claim but its not one to raise your rates. if your policy covers it, they should get you a rental for the time its in the shop

    I would do this.

Typically keyed marks are very deep and will need professional help.
