what brand buffer should I use?

The PC7424 (Porter Cable) is a good starter buffer; but if I were you, I would get the Flex XC 3401 VRG Orbital Polisher. It has more correction power than the PC

GOOSE! I'm so glad to hear you say that. Flex is one of my day-job's clients. We designed their website: www.flexna.com and are currently designing their Trade show booth for the Nov. SEMA show featuring their polishers =)

Definatley go with the flex.More expensive but well worth the money.
