bought a SS and did a detail.
Just got the car 3 weeks ago and did a full a detail. I clay-barred the paint and then used wax cleaner which made the red paint pop. Then I used pinnacle xmt 180 and made the paint look like it was wet. Third step I used poorboys nattys red paste wax and made the paint feel real glossy and add more depth. As for the interior i used meguires all purpose wipes and meguires leather cleaner and protectant and came out awsome. The rims I used chrome cleaner and gave them the mirror finish. As for the carpet it was not that dirty I used tuff stuff carpet cleaner and came out awsome and the floormats. here are some pics enjoy. The SS is bone stock except I just added a K&N drop in filter and I had the windows tinted 35% and ordered a 8" shorty antenna from ebay "not yet installed"

car ever been in an accident? looks like the passenger door and front fender dont line up.....could just be the pics but excellent detail job car looks great

Thanks Jaison its very clean for a 97. It was not that bad when I bought it. All the SS needed was a little tlc. Theres not to many lt1's left in good shape. Originally Posted by third_shift|studios
