whats the best way to spot clean/detail your car, example: bird poop, without having to wash the entire car?

meguiars quick detail spray.....spray on , let it soften up the poo, then dab the poo to soak it up, then re spray and wipe. this way you dont drag the poo on the paint. have fun with you poo cleaning

just wipe it off with a damp sponge with a little car wash and then detail the area with some detail spray.

to hell with washing the whole car.

It's sitting on there to long in the sun.The acid in the poop is etching the paint.Better (more) wax would also help. You can wet sand (2500 grit)the marks to remove. And go over the sand marks by hand with megs 105.

i wouldnt use windex on anything but glass......i would think that its not good for the paint ( a lot of that stuff has ammonia in it) and also it probably strips the wax off too

sometimes i use the invisible glass whipes on my rims, it does a good job and havent noticed any defects yet. my rims are already a little messed up so i dont care if they get a little worse. i think some one should make rim cleaning whipes, i hate the sprays.

Yepp, some quick detal spray and a microfiber towel, i keep one in the hatch. Windex will take the wax off.
If you leave it sit for days then it will work its way into the paint.
Iv been lucky everytime a bird poo's on my car he makes it in the t-top so i have to clean the seats often.

Windex isn't even good for cleaning windows much less your paint. It's not designed for cars period.
