    Bird droppings

So you come out of the house or from work and there is a big bird dropping on your car .. Is there an easy way to just clean it off, or do you need to wash the whole car ??

I use meguiers (sp?) quick detailer on my truck when that happens, Works great.

I haven't had a bird dropping on my car in over 2 yrs but would use that if so.

get meguiars quik detail spray........spray it on....let it sit for like 30 seconds to soften......wipe.....sometime you may need to turn the cloth and spray and wipe again.........

its quik detail, not a wax.........if you car is real dirty then you will have a clean spot yes......but thats better then having bird shit eating away your paint......the quik detail mist is for use on the whole car when the car isnt real dirty........its a great product

I wash mine when that happens, But i wax mine fairly often so when i hit it with the hose it just slides off the car. Hell ive had it slide down the car when the bird does it and run like its a egg or something.

I usually use a wet cloth, and dry off, but when this happens, the car is in need of a wash anyways. BTW, what part of Alabama u in?

i shoot the bird, or any/all birds within range. ususally solves the problem...

Usually the bird dung wont harm a factory finish, If you just got it painted, get it of asap with whatever you have....Shirt sleeve mcdonalds napkin whatever. The longer it sits the worse off you are

After shooting the birds... Make sure the S&%t is soft. As with anything rough it will scratch... Its also that time of year fellas, remember leaves will scar paint if they gey wet too...
