xbox power

putting my xbox in my car, i have a 400w/800w peak inverter and when i plug in power to the xbox, the little test breaker pops in the plug end of the power cord. is the reason because i need to run bigger power and ground wire to the inverter? i used the cigarette adapter it came with.

where are you going to fit an Xbox? unless you plan on playing out of the back of your car?

I run a 400/800 Watt Power Inverter for my laptop and Spotlight in my truck.

The Rep that i talked too said that 400W is the max you can run off of your 12V Cigarette adapter.

you would have to run it off the battery Directly with the prongs with 800W. how many Watts does the Xbox require to run?

where to fit - i removed my rear seats and have the seat deletes so i will be putting it there, but i want to build something nice to hold it.

power - the xbox needs 300w continuous 600w max (i think when it powers up)
so i guess i will just run power straight to it. i like that better because i can put it where i want instead of hanging off the cig lighter. Thanks!
