That Pay your ticket Radar Detectors ARE BULLCRAAAPP SCAM to get you to buy them, theres a BUNCH of terms and conditions like no more than 15 over etc etc etc
I got a escort passport 8500 x50, i love it, if i ever get another i will get the 9500i OR beltronics Sti

I bought the Cobra XRS 9730 a few months back. I paid $190 for it. Since most cops use instant on it works just as good as the $300 escort passport ( i bought one and took it back) also as good as the bel-65 (took it back also)
if u can afford $400 valentine is the way to go ......if not the top cobras are as good as the other more $$$$$ detectors IMO
Dont forget a police scanner....they are awesome....i got a handheld for $99....worth its weight in gold

I've always liked the Valentine 1's arrow direction pointers and its saved my butt more than a few times.

the only bad thing about jammers is that if a cop really wanted you <(which they always want sport cars) is that he can just radar the car near you if going the same speed. even thoe there not allowed to ,"there the cops" and if they really want to be a dick the can just say unsafe speed on conditions.

Hey so were the best place to get them do you have a site
and when you use these how do you set it up I know you
can listen but how can you tell were they are.

radio shack......http://www.cityfreq.com/ this will give you your local police channels to key into your scanner.......when the cops pull someone over they give their location....when they get a call they report where they are coming from.....they always have to report in where they are so the dispatcher knows where the closest cop is when they get calls
so I listen all the time and when I wanna race or have some fun I usually know where da law is....scanner and radar detector are my best friends that ride with me lol
the range on my handheld is around 30 miles....if u wannna spend more $$$ u can go mobile base unit with 1,000 channels or get digital scanner
not that I have done it but u can even pick up cordless phones/cell with some scanners
other stuff u can pick up.......airplanes, trains, wal-mart walkie talkies, drive thru headsets etc......there are web-sites that give channels for all that stuff
