    Weak sound from front speakers

I replaced my Monsoon with a JVC. The speakers in the back sound loud and normal. However the front seems real weak. I adjust the sound forward to see if I might have blown any. No cracks, just very week sound. Any ideas????

I have also rechecked all my wire harness.

What happens if you change the balance from left to right? Does one side get louder than if it is in the middle?

The sound fades changes correctly in the direction I go to (Left ....Right....)

I have adjust the fade to the front only and still sound much weaker than the back. I tried in all modes (CD, Radio, Aux) all the same. Vol was turned up to about 3/4 max vol. I checked again the wiring this past weekend and it is correct. I'm thinking of get a spare wire set and run it from a rear wire hook up to see if the speaker is blown.

WHen I removed the Monsoon I read that there was an amp somewhere. I only removed the head unit, was there another piece that the wiring harness goes thru that I need to remove?

The reason I asked is if you crossed a wire on one front speaker they won't be as loud if balanced but will be louder left or right in front. If you have the monsoon you have to hook up the amp wire from the back of the headunit to turn it on. If it is not on that could be your problem.
