    1999 Pontiac Trans AM WS6

    subwoofer install help

    Hey guys i just bought a 99 trans am WS6 and am attempting to put my subs in (2 alpine type R's) just needed a lil help where did all you guys run your power wire to the battery? Pretty tight in these trans ams so just wanted a general idea on where to make the hole for the power wire. thanks in advance

    I ran mine through the passenger side. There was a hole already there with wires coming through (at least on my 99 Z28) I had to take out the PCM but I didn't have to drill anything and no issues with the doors closing or needing to put in a gromet. Keep searching, there are a few good articles/how to on the net. I am also running Alpine Type R.
