Stereo or amp?
The stereo or the amp in my 00TA is starting to surge(the sound goes up and down). My question is, which one is it?Has anyone had this problem?

There is a speed compensated volume control "feature" on out decks. I'd turn that off to eliminate a variable.

Not on the TA's I believe.
OP, I think this problem is related to your head unit, not the amp. plenty of people have swapped out the stereos, try posting up in here: Parts Wanted / Trade
If you get a replacement stock HU, you might need this link as well: http://www.ls1.com/forums/f6/how-unl...r-radio-87474/

Thanks, i'll probably just replace the head unit with an aftermarket one. I was just checking to see if nyone had ever had the same problem.
