Depends on how they wire up. Got any pictures you can post up?
Usually for those halos you have to tap into the DRL

From the sound of it the two red and black wires are your high and low beams, surprised the lights don't use the factory harness
the three white and black wires i would assume to be the halos, basically you would splice these wires into the parking lamps below. You can wire the halos to stay on all the time, or blink with the turn signals, it's up to you. You have to find out which wire does what and use that wire as your power source for the LEDs. If you don't have a test light or a multimeter i'd consider going out and picking one up, great tool to have handy.

the only part of the directions i do not get is when i clip the parking light wire to put in the quick connect, what happens to the other side of the wire for the parking light?

How you described it the high and low beams should be fairly easy to figure out. The stock pigtail on the harness gets cut off and the light gets spliced onto it
The 6 other wires that get reduced to one white and black splice onto the turn signal harness. I can't say for sure this is how the lights work since i haven't actually seen them but from what you said, thats my best guess.
Would really help to post up some pics, my heads running around blind
