speaker issue
ok i replace all stock equipment(h.u. and speakers)everything was working awesome..i brought my car in for a tune up and now for some reason when i first start my car up till about 5-10mins after i hear this snapping sound almost like static shock coming from the rear speakers...its weird its just the rear speakers not the front...also i dont know if this means anything but its been kinda very cold here like say mid teens..but last winter they didnt do this..im wondering if for some reason they are getting a static discharge..i dunno its rather annoying to listen to that noice but it does go away..weird i might say.i havent taken it apart yet being the fact its been too cold but i just thought that maybe somebody might of heard of such

Sounds like your speaker wires may have gotten pinched and are being shorted out. The noise you described is typical for when this happens. Re-trace your wiring to see what has happened.

That doesn't matter. Maybe they've been slowly getting pinched more and more durring that year and finally they got pinched enough to short out.

It could be an intermittent short. The worst kind. At least if it is a pinched speaker wire it's easy to find and to fix.
Who did the installation? If you did it yourself did you use crimp connectors or maybe twist the wires together and then tape them up? Let's hope not. If you did it's possible those connections to the speakers are bad.
