    Sony Xplod Head Unit Question

    Tried Google and the Sony/Crutchfield site to see if the head unit was interchangeable with face plates. . . .anyone know of such a possibility?

    Got a Sony Xplod CDX-CA650x unit. . . .

    Well it depends on if you stole the headunit. From my experience that is why people take their faceplates out of the vehicles. You can get a new headunit for the faceplate but you cannot get a new faceplate. That would kind of defeat the whole anti-theft option.

    Currently own 1995 Z28 (Silver-Automatic) - BONE STOCK!!!
    Recently purchased 2001 Z28 (Black-6 Speed) - 3" Flowmasters and
    other misc stuff. This, bad traction (2.21 60') and missed 3-4 shift
    netted me 13.46 sec in the 1/4 mile. . .
