Replacing Window Motor, Rivets won't come out

Hi everyone, Today I bought my window motors to be replaced so I started my project about 5 pm. I am following the write up here on ls1.com (http://shbox.com/page/windowmotor.html) on replacing the window motor and everything was going well untill I got to the step on dreilling out the rivets

This step shows the rivets removed but as I was trying to drill them out, I noticed the rivets turning as well with the drillbit.

So I was getting nowhere, is there anyone here who had this problem too, if so I need help on taking these rivets out. Thanks in advance guys.

Stake the rivets with a center punch.

make a good indentation along the edge of the rivet into the door metal, might take a few tries.

I just drilled them on a angle, with more pressure from behind the drill. Be cautious obviously.

i think i had this problem and if i remember correctly i think i used a slightly bigger drill bit. didnt read the write up but make sure you have a bolt and nut placed in to keep the snake coil from poping out and causing injury. i learned the hard way lol 7 stitches in my thumb when i replaced mine in 05.
