rear speakers

Hey guys,

Put my new head unit in and the two speakers in the side of the rear seat wont work with it. Worked with the factory though. Any body know why?

Also, who has changed their rear speakers out? The ones back where the hatch is?

Do you have the Monsoon system?

I took out my rear hatch speakers.

they are wired like subs they get juice from the amp only not the hu

I figured they were set in from the HU. I just ran a set of speaker wires from the hatch speakers and they worked fine.

Anyway, how did you guys replace the hatch speakers? I thought about putting 6X9's in but wasn't sure about the cutting of the factory plastic.
