Radio not shutting off with driver door 1999

I have a 99 SS Camaro when I shut the car off the radio and accessory power stays on even when I open the driver door and also dome lighting will not come on when opening door works with passenger door I have to open the passenger door in order for it to shut down I replace the driver door switch and still the same issue oh and it will time out after 10 minutes do you think it’s a BCM problem or what else can I check

Actually, I think, in this case, you should visit any repair service. First of all, if you can't solve this problem at first, it is better to give an opportunity to professionals.

One possibility is that you have the very common bad solder joints in the Body Control Module. When the joints are bad it can cause havoc with the radio, windows, and wipers. This is a known issue with many 4th gens and fairly easy to fix if you are reasonably handy, own a decent solder gun, and can follow directions without soldering your fingers together. I seem to remember it was a bit of an ordeal to get my BCM out
when I had some gremlins!

I hope it is easier in a Camaro!!
