Question on replacing factory Monsoon door speakers

Me and buddy were going to replace the factory door speakers in my car with my aftermarket MB Quart speakers but once we pulled back the panel on the passenger side and took the speaker out, we noticed it has two wires running to it while the MB Quart speakers with their crossovers only use one wire. He's not sure if we should mess with it and at this point thinks just having a professional do the swap is the best option. I was trying to avoid shelling out money for a basic speaker swap. Does anyone know what needs to be done?

You spliced one of them off and capped it?

when i did mine i took one black wire from one set of the four wires and one red one, (one from each set of wires). you will have to try them both to see which two it is.

are you replacing them with 4 ohm speakers or 2ohm's?
stock speakers in the front door are 2 ohm's
the 4 ohm's are going to pull more power than the stock amp can handle so it wont be using the full potential of the speaker at higher volume.
