    My life is a
    Ben Stiller movie.

question about thunderform's and car's weight

Does adding a thunderform sub in the rear cubby throw off the car's balance at all? You have to figure that a sub, enclosure and human driving on that side of the car has to throw off the center of gravity

I'm not sure it matters that much -- and if anything, helps. It isn't like a boat where what happens in the front and back on one side effects the entire balance of it. If you still have the spare and jack, the box would probably balance out the back and distribute weight better amongst the rear or the car/axle. I can't imagine a driver with most weight near the front suspension having a dramatic effect on the rear -- I see weight being changed from side to side being what is effected more than front to rear.

    Then again, who knows.

side to side on this car IS more important for handling. but honestly, you wont even notice it

Yea - that's what I mean... The driver sits up front, and I don't think the weight on the front suspension (where driver would sit) would be effected much at all from something placed more near the rear axle. I figured this might actually HELP for side/side, assuming the spare tire/etc is in. And....if it's NOT in, then it's probably no worse than a stock car with just the spare on one side and nothing on the other.
