Is there any specific place in the car you'd like to mount it?

Really no point for a PS3 in a car... unless you have like a 26inch LCD in there... but, a lot of people used to mount PS2s in between the back seats, dunno if PS3 will fit. Running the right cables will cost a lot unless you put it close to the screen.

You didnt get lucky, the best buy in Louisville has 60 of them in stock. Best advice is to sell it.

But, I do not think it will fit in the glove box because it is too small. the Ps3 is fairly big itself, I would put it in between the backseats... or modify the center console so it will stand up in there, but there is not much room there either. I imagine it gets cold in IL, so I would also worry about insulating it. I was going to say the trunk, but it will be cold in there, and it would take a lot to route it up to an in dash screen, which is what I assume you have?

you'd probably be better off with one of the small ps2's in the glove box.

they are in HD resolution.. but they dont need an HD TV.. they juts need to be plugged in.. the one in my brothers room isnt hooked up 2 an HDTV.. just a standard Red/Yellow/White (audio/video) cables.. and the ps2 idea isnt a bad idea.. i might run with that one...
