Power Antenna Question

How do you rig it to make the antenna go down and stay down? I installed a DVD player and no longer need my antenna since the new deck came with antennas' that I have to install on the window. I installed a switch a couple of years ago but the antenna broke so it no longer goes down. Is there something I need to break in order for it to go down? I tried to push but there is something keeping it from going back down even manually.

yeap, pretty much have to take the drive motor apart to do it, thats as much as I know.

Agreed. If you aren't able to physically push the antenna down, you'll probably have to take it apart from the inside...

just a thought here, if your not going to use the antenna anymore why not remove it and fill the hole in

You can do Like I did and get a BitViper Custom antenna. It has a low profile and it also brings out the appearance of the car a little. Just an option. They won't break the bank either.
