    Plug & Play?

Would a factory radio / CD player from a later model Firebird ('98-'02) plug right into an earlier model, i.e. a '96 TA?

Is that something that can be reset similar to the ECM codes?

No you will need the code to be able to unlock the radio. It is not the same as a ECM reset.

OK Thanks - Will keep that in mind of I find a radio for sale. Would a dealership have codes for that type of stuff?

Dealer can sometimes get the codes by the VIN of the car the radio came from. Dealers have gotten a little strict on those, so I'd look for a radio that the seller knows the code to.
