    Thumbs up Plug and go?

I have a pair of 6 1/2 in. infinity speakers on hand right now, and im wondering if i can just take put my factor backseat speakers, splice the wire from the factory plug, and use the factory wiring to crimp the connection to the infinitys, and just screw them back in, and have them work fine? will i need any additional stuff?

+ to + and - to - is what he's talking about as far as phasing them.

Yes, I got that right! the wiring chart said blue to - and green to +, wired them accordingly

Many factory speakers are not marked positive (+) and negative (-) so you need to determine correct phasing. Easiest thing to do is disconnect the factory speaker (make sure to note the color code on the connector if the plug is reversible) and then with a short piece of wire and a AA battery test it. Start by holding the wire to the negative side of the battery and touch the other end of the wire to one of the terminals. With the wire in place then touch the positive end of the battery to the other terminal and watch the speaker cone.

You will hear a "pop" and the speaker cone will move as the connection is made. If the cone thrusts outward then you have properly identified the (+) and (-) terminals. If the speaker cone sucks in then you know you have it backwards. Change terminals and it should then thrust outward. It is important to properly phase speakers as they can essentially cancel each other out and will generally sound terrible otherwise.
