Output Rating on a Stock 98 TA Alternator

I am trying to figure out what the actual output ratings are for the stock alternator on my 98 base TA. I can get a stepped up alternator off of a base camaro (v6) for free and make the swap if its worth it. So, the other question is - could I swap the alternators between a 98 TA and a 98 camaro no problem, direct replacements? How hard would this be, any idea?

The stock alt for an LS1 Trans Am is 105 amps. Replacing it with an alt from a V-6 would be a downgrade if anything. It's my understanding that a V-6 has a smaller alt than what is used with a V-8

I assumed that. However, the alt on the camaro has been "stepped up" and I believe that it was built to put out 120 amps. So, thats why I wanna go ahead and make the swap if its worth it before the camaro sells.
