Options for bass in these cars?
It's come to the point where I can't even listen to music because the stereo is so awful... there's no decent low end at all. The stock stereo in my 95 Galant is better and more enjoyable to listen to (not joking or exaggerating). Is the only option to replace the middle pillar speakers or has anyone ever tried a Bazooka tube? What about a subwoofer (I would jump right into this but I don't know where I'd put the box)?

I have rockford fostgate all throughout. Including tweeters. Minus the speakers in the trunk area, those are disconnected now. 2 amps, one for sub one for rest of speakers, sits on the flat piece in the trunk with a piece built over that covered in matching carpet for the car. So withthe trunk closed you cannot see anything. Sub is a T2 that sits perfectly in the open trunk space. Which is cobevered by that little flap thing we all have. I keepthat closed so That way u cant see the sub when its closed either. The t2 is a heavy enough speaker that it wont rock around regardless of how you drive.
I can take pictures if you want to get a better idea of what i mean.Suspension: Lower control arms (Spohn), Drive shaft safety loop, Torque arm (Edlebrock), Strut tower brace, Panhard Bar (BMR)
Under the Hood: Smooth bellows, Lid, Catch can, LT Headers, ORY, AIR/EGR delete, Poly engine/transmission mounts,
Exterior: Painted brake calipers (Red), Halo “Spyder” Headlights w/matching parking/turn signals (Black)

Have you thought of putting tweets in the door defrost holes that are in the dash? That's where i thought of adding more. To the Op, look at the sneak boxes that are made to go in the side of trunk where the changer goes. (Drivers side.) That's what I have, and it THUMPS!

always dirty- 2013 Ram 2014 Caddy ATS
Depends on how much bass you want. A stealthbox takes up very little room and will add a good amt of bass. Upgrade the rest of the speakers and it will sound much better.

I have 2 Infinity 10s in stealth boxes and they sound great. I also have my amp mounted to a amp rack in the back and this setup saves you a lot of trunk space. If you are wanting bass this is the way I would go imo, and maybe get some tweeters to go along with it.
