    odd electrical problem

I just got my car out of storage a week ago. when the car did not start yesterday I assumed that my battery was dead from the winter. got that check the battery was fine. today I was driving and all of a sudden all the lights start flashing on and off and my speedo and tach go to 0. I then think its my alternator so I tighten the idler pulley. I go out driving everything is going fine than it happened again. it seems to be random when it happens and I really don't know what is the problem. the car runs fine just all the lights on the dash go blank. what do you guys think it is. P.S. I took it out on another drive and so far so good but I have a feeling the problem did not go away.
