I had a '94 T/A with the same problem, some of the functions work some times. It was annoying but I never got around to fixing it, the waterpump went out and took the optispark with it. After I finished fixing that I got rid of the car and bought a LS1 T/A.

Took me awhile to answer....The horn works fine... I tried the turning the wheel thing, but that didn't work either......I thought it might be something common out there. No biggie.......I guessit wont kill me to reach.....

The controls themselves wear out over time. Mine worked but the volume was possessed. I'd be driving along and all of a sudden them volume would turn itself all the way up. Pretty unnerving. Replacement controls are fairly cheap on ebay just search them. I saw some for about $10.00-$20.00 plus small shipping charge. I just searched "trans am radio controls" and 6 popped up immediately.

$10 - 20$ .... tell me where to sign up!!! Those auctions usally end with a price more around $60 or so, and are almost always USED! Be sure to check that out, you may be paying for a control that is 4 or 5 years old and is fixing to go out ... GM sales them for around $140 for one! They stated that it is a HOT item and is the reason for the increase in price over the years!
