    new speaker interferance

    just put new front door speakers in my 01 and now the passenger side its makin a horrible crackeling noise almost like its blown but there brand new any iedas???

    Swap the speakers side to side and see if it follows. Or, simply pull the speaker and wire it up to another source and see what it does.

    I have this same problem! I put brand new 180watt pioneers 6x5s in the front doors. and the passanger side is making that crackeling sound. i tried rewiring already. all i did was runn both the treble and bass wires to the speaker wire. still acts up.

    thats literally the exact same problem that i have it started with the passenger then progressed to the driver side. i was going to take it to the stereo shop but id rather spend my money on the drive train or engine instead of stereo bs

    I found out what was wrong with it!! This might help u I recommend u check the wires between the dash and door speaker. I had a bad wire going into the headunit. Now everything sounds fine after replacing the wire.

    i just pulled the speakers and tested them and they were both bad so i took them back and exchanged them last week
