Need Help fixing steering wheel controls

i have a 00' z28 that came with stereo controls on the steering wheel. They have always worked fine with the aftermarket pioneer system that was installed by the previous owner, but now the controls are non responsive, so any ideas what might be wrong, loose wiring or something? It quit working after i had the dealership replace the heating block (defroster didn't work anymore). Any help would be nice, since i really don't want to spend any money to pay someone to fix the controls, but then again whats the point of stereo controls on you steering wheel if they don't even work.

i have steering wheel controls.....and i never use them.........anyhoo....all of your buttons dont work or just one ....what? if its just one maybe the switch is worn out......if its all of them?>.......dunno loose wire.....??

yea, all of the controls are unresponsive and i'm having trouble finding which wire is leading to the stereo to the wheel controls.

Dealership probably disconnected it while working on your car. They disconnect some weird things sometimes. My cruise control doesn't work anymore after my dealership replaced a bent push rod, but I never really used it anyways, so I don't care that much.
