Monsoon stereo question

I plan to buy a 2002 WS6 as my first car. My father used to own one but we sold it and when I was little we made mix discs on CD-R's to play on the Monsoon stereo. Will the Monsoon stereo also play CD-RWs?

I don't know about the Monsoon, because I bought my car used, and it came with an aftermarket head unit.

I eventually got rid of that thing and went with a Kenwood that had a USB reader in it. I bought a 1cm square USB chip, with 32 gigs on it. I can put thousands of songs on that and never have to worry about swapping discs and keeping a big giant binder in the car with dozens and dozens of discs in it. The head unit was around $100 and I had Best Buy install it. The install should run you maybe $20, I'm guessing, though it should be easy enough to do yourself if you have a degree of competence in that area.

Mine does!! As well as CD-R

have to say i do like originality with things like this!!

Hell... i am 54 and i could care less about subs, amps
and all of that stuff. I have it tuned to the one FM station or
my 80's mix CD

I know that CD-R's work but CD-RW's definitely also work too?

Well, is it a deal breaker? Will you not buy the car if it doesn't work? Seems like you could just buy CD-Rs and not worry about it?

My wife has a 6-disk changer in her 2007 and I feel that it is archaic. Mostly because I have made a decision to only listen to music that fits very specific criteria and listening to the radio defeats that.
