    Monsoon Security Code ?

    I may be worried about nothing here but...

    The car that I just bought has an aftermarket head unit and I want to change back to the Stock Monsoon. I found on on Ebay and it's on the way. What I don't know is if the Monsoons have a theft security code that would keep the unit from working. Do they? If so, what is the solution?

    Yes, they do have a theft lock security code, but that doesn't mean it'll be useless for you to use.

    i heard that there is a default code you can punch in to unlock it, i may be mistaken.

    Yes, it is explained in detail in the owners manual. It's there as a default incase the owner forgets the security code.
