BLACK- 2000 Camaro SS
Main Ground Location
Updating my stereo system in my 2000 SS, with new speakers, sub, and 2 amps mounted on an amp rack in the back. Trying to determine the best location to ground the 2 amps, which will both have 8 ga. power wire off a distribution block being fed by a 4 ga. primary power source. Where did any of you guys connect the ground to?

Anywhere that hits the metal of the vehicle. The closer to the amp, the better.
If I remember correctly, I think mine is grounded in on the rear most part of the trunk towards the center on the wall. Right next to the trunk lid opener. If that makes sense.

08 Mustang GT/CS Blue- 2002 Trans Am WS6 traded
mine (3) were grounded behind the panel where the rear hatch speakers are mounted. There is a metal shelf or tab, large enough to sand paint off and screw gounds to--think it was up by where rear seat belt spool mounts to. Hope this helps!
