    Installing In-Dash DVD

I have a 2000 ws6 with the monsoon stereo. Iwant to put in an aftermarket deck. Do I need any parts besides the wiring harness and antenna adapter? I had a 1996 camero with the boses system and I had to buy an expensive crossover to install that deck. Do I need a similar part wiht the monsoon strereo change out? Also is there a way to keep the steering wheel radio controls functional? I have two 12'' Treo SSX subs and two Directed 2400D class amps with a Stinger dry cell battery I thought about installing, but I think I am going to sell them instead if anyone is interested. Treo SSX subs are the loudest subs in the world. Any help would be great.

NOPE. just the gm wiring harness, the antenna adapter and the mounting kit. i would reccomend a flushmount. they're a little more expensive than a regular mount, but i hate how far out my stereo sticks out now. also, you'll have to install a grounding switch to trick the dvd into thinking the parking brake is on.

Are you saying flush mounts as in double din decks? If so I tried to get one but they would have to modify the dash and I didn't want that.

no. humount makes a mount for the 1din radios that doesn't stick out like the other ones do.

Metra makes the flushmount kits and you can pick it up at Kragen's or Schucks whichever is in your neck of the woods
